Stephen “Tuck” Tuckwood, CFA®, director of investments at Modern Wealth Management, has played a pivotal role in building the investment infrastructure behind one of the country’s fastest-growing RIAs. Since joining Modern Wealth at its founding in 2023, Tuckwood has helped shape the firm’s investment platform, manager selection process, advisor-facing tools and portfolio implementation support, creating a scalable foundation for a firm that now manages $14.4 billion in assets across 29 client-facing offices in 18 states. Over the past 12–18 months, Tuckwood’s leadership has been especially important as Modern Wealth expanded through strategic acquisitions. He has helped integrate incoming advisory teams into a consistent, research-driven investment framework while preserving flexibility for advisor and client needs.
