Gene Goldman, Chief Investment Officer of Cetera Financial Group, spent the past year building investment infrastructure that expanded what independent advisors can offer their clients. His most significant accomplishment was leading the July 2025 launch of the Cetera Blended Alternatives Model — Moderate, the firm's first alternatives model portfolio, developed in partnership with iCapital and covering private equity, private credit, and private real estate. He followed that with the October 2025 launch of Cetera Private Wealth Portfolios — six strategic model portfolios available through Cetera's My Advice Architect platform. Goldman also led the investment architecture for the April 2026 launch of Cetera Planning Partners, which debuted with more than 100 advisors.
