Kan Kotecha serves as Chief Technology Officer at CAIS, where he leads the firm’s global technology strategy, platform engineering, and enterprise integrations. Over the past year, Kan has directed CAIS’ most significant technology push to date: Embedding AI across the alternative investment transaction lifecycle, from document processing and error reduction through case resolution and workflow automation. His teams built the structured data foundation underpinning CAISey, CAIS’ AI solution for alternative investments and capital markets intelligence. He led a first-of-its-kind integration with Anthropic’s Claude that brings fund intelligence directly into advisors’ existing workflows. He also unified alternatives with traditional investments across leading wealth platforms like Envestnet, Orion, and Vestmark.
