Wells Fargo has promoted Beth Renner to head of its new Advice Center in Wealth & Investment Management's Advice and Planning center of excellence.
The new Advice Center was "designed to build advice capabilities designed to appeal to a broad range of client needs, concerns and goals," the wirehouse said Wednesday.
Renner has more than 30 years of experience in the financial service industry and in the field of philanthropy. She most recently led Wells Fargo Bank's National Philanthropic Services Group in WIM, where she oversaw specialized advisory services to charitable individuals, families and nonprofit organizations.
She first joined Wells Fargo in 2005 after serving as a vice president and private banking manager at U.S. Bancorp for more than nine years, according to her LinkedIn profile.
In her new role at Wells Fargo, Renner will lead the team responsible for helping to provide family dynamics, philanthropic advice, retirement services, family office services, corporate executive services, business transitions, life event services, and other goal- and advice-oriented capabilities, the firm said.
