Insurers can register to use the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission for the rest of the year for just $2,500.

Insurers that will be using the IIPRC to submit filings in 5 or fewer states can register for just $1,250, according to the IIPRC, Washington.

The IIPRC has set up a service that insurers can use to submit product applications and other forms to regulators in up to 35 states.

In many cases, insurers that use the service can get approvals back in less than 20 days, the IIPRC says.

The IIPRC offers prorated half-year registrations starting July 1 to encourage more insurers to try the service.

In related news, the IIPRC says it will start taking filings for one new member, New Mexico, today.

The IIPRC will start taking filings for Mississippi July 16.
