The American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance has added a guide to Federal and state tax-deductibility rules regarding long-term care insurance to its Web site.

The site includes rules and limits to current deductibility regulations, and is available free of charge to anyone.

"Over eight million Americans now own long-term care insurance and the federal government and many states offer tax deductions and tax incentives that increase yearly," Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance, said in a press release.
