National Planning Holdings Inc. says it will expand a program that helps affiliated registered representatives manage their practices.

The program, AdvisorPath, will include access to a conference; a Web library; succession planning services; a "virtual assistant" who will work for National Planning but serve just one rep; and an on-site review that will include ideas about ways a participating advisor can improve the efficiency of the practice, according to National Planning, Santa Monica, Calif., a unit of Jackson National Life Insurance Company, Lansing, Mich.

The program also will include a short-term loan program to help new reps cover marketing and overhead expenses, along with a financing program that will help more experienced advisors buy existing financial services practices, National Planning says.
