In addition to helping employees enroll themselves in benefit programs through the Web, the system will help with enrollment through call centers and during face-to-face meetings, according to UnumProvident, Chattanooga, Tenn.

UnumProvident will make the system available to outside enrollment organizations as well as to its own enrollment team, the company says.

UnumProvident says the system will be able to handle enrollment in life, long term care, critical illness and accident plans as well as in short-term and long-term disability plans.
