NU Online News Service, July 11, 2003, 5:32 p.m. EDT – The long-term care insurance unit of General Electric Company, Fairfield, Conn., says it is using the Web to help financial representatives start the long term care insurance application process.

GE is making the Web-based application process available to reps with Edward D. Jones & Company L.P., St. Louis, who have appointments to sell insurance for GE's General Electric Capital Assurance subsidiary.

Jones reps can also get suitability forms and other LTC forms and marketing materials through the Web, GE says.
