Orion, a wealth management and technology services provider, has named Arun Anur as its chief operating officer.

In the role, Anur takes on oversight of Orion’s client experience delivery across service, operations, data reconciliation and onboarding. He brings over three decades of industry experience, most recently as COO of Envestnet.

Previously, Anur held technology consulting leadership roles at Oracle for more than a decade.

Orion CEO Natalie Wolfsen said in a statement that Anur’s experience and track record will help the firm deliver “a consistently exceptional client experience” and “operational excellence.”

Anur said he looks forward to applying his extensive background in leading global client support organizations and operational strategy.

“I’m excited to work with the talented team at Orion to further elevate the service we provide, ultimately creating raving fans of the advisors and enterprises we serve,” he said.

Anur’s appointment follows a series of high-level executive appointments made by Orion in 2024, including the hiring of Chris Shutler, another former Envestnet executive, as head of strategy.

Orion also recently agreed to acquire Summit Wealth Systems, a wealth management technology provider, bringing on board its co-founder, technology entrepreneur Reed Colley, to lead the broader Orion technology business.
