F2 Strategy, the wealth management strategy and technology firm, has appointed Ryan Beach as its next CEO.

Beach is taking over the leadership role from Doug Fritz, F2 Strategy's co-founder, who will become executive chairman and focus on client relationships.

Beach’s previous experience includes nearly 13 years at Orion, where he served in a number of executive positions before becoming president of Orion Wealth Management.

“We couldn’t be happier that Ryan has agreed to come on board at F2,” Fritz said in a statement. “His leadership as CEO will allow me to focus on what I’m most passionate about — working hands-on with our clients and shaping the future of the industry.”

Beach said that he has long admired F2 Strategy’s approach to helping the wealth management industry adapt to change, with the firm serving as an important partner to Orion during his tenure.

"I saw firsthand the value F2 brought as a partner, delivering innovative solutions and real-world insights,” Beach said. “I’m excited to join co-founders Doug and Liz Fritz and their team in continuing to drive growth and helping clients bridge the gap between expectations and capabilities in meaningful and impactful ways.”

The recruitment of Beach represents the latest in a series of personnel additions that include Laura Korbel as president and Jay Halbert as chief financial officer. It also comes some 18 months after Renovus Capital Partners made a majority investment in the firm, helping it to establish a new headquarters office in Chicago last year.

Lee Minkoff, managing director at Renovus, said that the firm has full confidence in Beach’s leadership as CEO.

“Ryan is the right leader to guide the company through its next phase of growth,” Minkoff said. “His experience at a large organization like Orion equips him to strengthen operations and build on the strong foundation that Doug and Liz have created.”
