RFG Advisory, the hybrid RIA platform, has set an internal recruiting record as 2024 nears its end, with the firm adding over $600 million in new assets from recently onboarded advisors.

That haul brings the total assets under advisement from $4.5 billion on Jan. 1 to $5.7 billion as of mid-November. The firm has also nearly doubled its advisor growth from the previous year, adding 21 advisors so far this year compared with 12 in 2023.

Among the advisors to join RFG this year are Vester and Sharon Martin, co-founders of Cheaha Wealth Management; Hunter Yarbrough, founder of Lealand Wealth Partners; Ian MacClure, founder of Copper Pass Advisory; Letitia “Tish” Berbaum, founder of Blue Sands Wealth; Kevin Mautte, of RVA Wealth Management; and Bill McCollum and John Wingo, a wealth advisor and founder, respectively, at Wingo Wealth.

“We are thrilled to welcome these dynamic Advisors who share our passion for delivering an exceptional client experience,” Shannon Spotswood, the recently appointed CEO of RFG Advisory, said in a statement.

Spotswood cited RFG’s ability to help advisors “grow their businesses without compromise” as a key growth driver, alongside its marketing, technology and compliance support.

"Everything that we do at RFG is centered around providing advisors with technology and solutions that help them deepen their client relationships, grow organically and scale their businesses to create enterprise value," Spotswood told ThinkAdvisor in a recent interview.
