The XY Planning Network is marking its 10th anniversary in operation this week, with its leaders highlighting the turnkey advice and planning platform' momentum in an "ever-evolving" wealth management landscape.
"Ten years ago, the industry insisted there was no viable way to serve next-generation clients profitably, and that they would inevitably be serviced by robo-advisors," said Alan Moore, XYPN CEO and co-founder, in a statement. "But year-over-year membership growth and retention has proven it's not only viable, it's profitable."
Today, the network consists of more than 1,900 members who draw on XYPN's resources as they serve more than 80,000 clients across the wealth spectrum.
In addition to providing access to scalable planning technology, XYPN provides advisors with compliance services and solutions including RIA registrations, Form ADV updates and tax management systems. It also provides a bookkeeping solution and the XYPN Archive, developed to meet financial advisors' recordkeeping and compliance requirements.
Just this year, XYPN rolled out a pilot corporate RIA affiliation program, dubbed XYPN Sapphire, for advisors who "prefer a more plug-and-play technology and compliance system" built to serve fee-for-service advisors with no asset minimums.
