Austin Koenen, a high-net-worth specialist financial advisor who built a $2.7 billion book of business at Citi Private Bank, has joined Bank of America Private Bank’s Atlanta office.

Koenen becomes a private client advisor at BofA, according to the firm’s announcement. In the role, he is responsible for delivering investing, philanthropy, credit and wealth planning services to ultra-high-net-worth families in Georgia, South Carolina and the broader Southeastern market.

Koenen brings more than 20 years of experience to the firm, drawing on a master’s in business administration from Duke University.

Bank of America Private Bank employs more than 4,000 professionals and maintains 100 offices in 42 U.S. markets. It managed $640 billion in client balances as of June 30.
