Austin Koenen, a high-net-worth specialist financial advisor who built a $2.7 billion book of business at Citi Private Bank, has joined Bank of America Private Bank's Atlanta office.
Koenen becomes a private client advisor at BofA, according to the firm's announcement. In the role, he is responsible for delivering investing, philanthropy, credit and wealth planning services to ultra-high-net-worth families in Georgia, South Carolina and the broader Southeastern market.
Hong Ogle, a division executive at Bank of America Private Bank, cited Koenen's depth of experience and commitment to serving clients as drivers of his recruitment.
"We are thrilled to continue strengthening our presence in the Southeast amid significant wealth transfer and creation," Ogle said in a statement.
