DonorAdvisedFunds.com, a platform that matches donors with the optimal vehicle for their charitable giving, has released the 2024 DAF Gold List, a ranking of the 20 most prominent U.S. donor-advised funds based on its proprietary DAFScore algorithm. "The rapid growth of donor-advised funds has changed the giving game, offering a new level of convenience, tax benefits and flexibility to manage charitable giving over time — which is increasingly attractive to donors, especially during times of economic uncertainty," Brad Saft, founder and CEO of DonorAdvisedFunds.com, said in a statement. The DAFScore algorithm analyzes many of the more than 1,000 active DAF sponsors across a dozen or so metrics including initial contribution requirements, customer service, ease of use and restrictions, issues that the platform says are important to donors.
