Merrill Unveils New Scheduling Tool for Clients, Prospects

Meetings can be easily arranged and rescheduleed as needed based on advisors’ real-time availability.

Merrill Wealth Management has rolled out a new digital appointment tool designed to help advisors save time and effort when scheduling meetings with both clients and prospects.

The resource lets advisors digitally send meeting requests to clients and prospects, who can then schedule or reschedule meetings at their convenience based on their advisor’s real-time availability.

The tool aims to create a more streamlined experience for both advisors and clients at a time when clients are prioritizing communication styles in their search for an advisor, according to Merrill’s announcement.

The new capability also means advisors can add multiple attendees to a meeting, proactively send automatic meeting reminders via text or email, and personalize meetings with clients’ preferences for platform and location — i.e., in person or virtual.

Advisors and clients using the tool will be able to have a “modern scheduling experience,” said Inez Louzonis, head of platform and capabilities at Merrill Wealth Management, in a statement.

“Digital appointment setting equips Merrill advisory teams with a tool they can use every day to maximize their time and further provide clients with seamless experiences across Merrill’s services,” Louzonis added.
