Focus Financial Partners has named Travis Danysh as its new chief corporate development officer.

Danysh, who was promoted from the role of head of mergers and acquisitions and business development, is now tasked with leading all corporate development activities at Focus, including M&A, capital deployment and economic structuring solutions.

He will report directly to Focus CEO Michael Nathanson.

Nathanson cited Danysh’s success in strengthening firm processes and discipline around capital deployment decisions as drivers of the promotion, including work related to the firm’s investment committee process.

“Travis is a strong, experienced leader who is highly regarded at Focus and across the wealth management industry for the significant contributions he’s made to our company — and our industry — over the last decade,” Nathanson said.

Danysh said he looks forward to taking on the added responsibilities during a “new chapter of growth” for Focus Financial.

“We are fortunate to be the beneficiary of a number of industry and company-specific tailwinds as we implement our enhanced strategy,” Danysh explained.

Focus, which was acquired last year by the private equity firm Clayton Dubilier & Rice, works with more than 90 partner firms with combined assets of over $350 billion.
