Apex Launches Cloud-Based Investment Platform

The goal of the system is to help financial services clients “build nimble” and “run vast.”

Apex Fintech Solutions has unveiled a cloud-based investment platform dubbed Apex Ascend, designed to help financial services firms boost their client-service efficiency and navigate risk more effectively.

The platform’s “cloud-native” infrastructure, according to the announcement, gives clients access to a range of new tools and data to help build, integrate and scale their operations globally.

Among the tools is a real-time ledger providing around-the-clock, API-based delivery for a range of account activities, acting as a “single source of truth” for real-time custody and clearing across existing fintech solutions.

The platform also provides customizable automated reporting and visualization tools, complemented by a modernized developer experience meant to enable tech teams to build digital-first retail investment and trading solutions across asset classes, account types and delivery models.

Other features cited in the announcement are real-time account onboarding, trading and order execution management, and rebalancing tools. The overall goal of the platform, according to Apex CEO Bill Capuzzi, is to help clients “build nimble” and “run vast.”

“Industry changes come for everybody — whether they are threats or opportunities — and Apex Ascend is how companies can more efficiently wield finite resources to adapt to meet those challenges,” Capuzzi said.

He added that the platform can be used by firms “no matter the size of [the] enterprise.”
