Nuveen CEO Jose Minaya is set to become the next head of wealth and investments at BNY, formerly BNY Mellon, in early September.
Minaya will join the company on Sept. 3, according to the firm's announcement. He will report to Robin Vince, BNY president and CEO, and will become a member of the firm's executive committee.
Minaya takes over the leadership role from Hanneke Smits, who will retire in September. Smits transitions to become chairwoman of BNY Investments through the end of 2024.
