Capital Group Launches 7 New Active ETFs

Capital Group has introduced seven new active, transparent stock and fixed income exchange-traded funds, expanding its existing portfolio offerings.

Four equity and three fixed income ETFs comprise the new strategies, which started trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) last week.

Capital Group, home to American Funds, in the past two years has launched 21 ETFs with $29 billion in assets under management.

The seven new funds:

  • Capital Group Global Equity ETF (CGGE), with a 0.47% expense ratio.
  • Capital Group New Geography Equity ETF (CGNG), with a 0.64% expense ratio.
  • Capital Group Conservative Equity ETF (CGCV), with a 0.33% expense ratio.
  • Capital Group International Core Equity ETF (CGIC), with a 0.54% expense ratio.
  • Capital Group Ultra Short Income ETF (CGUI), with a 0.18% expense ratio.
  • Capital Group International Bond ETF (USD-Hedged) (CGIB), with a 0.45% expense ratio.
  • Capital Group Municipal High-Income Bond ETF (CGHM), with a 0.34% expense ratio.

Our aim is to continue to bring Capital's long history of pursuing superior, consistent investment results to more financial professionals and their clients," said Scott Davis, Capital Group's head of ETFs.
