Raymond James recently recruited a Las Vegas-based team of seven financial advisors to its employee advisor channel, Raymond James & Associates.
The Takahashi Retirement Group comes to Raymond James from Morgan Stanley, where the advisors managed about $1.3 billion in client assets. They will operate as part of Raymond James & Associates' Las Vegas branch, according to the announcement, with a focus on serving a diverse range of clients, including corporate executives, families and retirees.
The group's lead advisor and former Morgan Stanley managing director, Nick Takahashi, cited Raymond James & Associates' "client and advisor centric ethos combined with vast resources" as a primary motivator for the change.
