The application window for a recently expanded online training program that helps college students, new advisors and career changers enter the financial planning field closes Wednesday.
The course, which was created by Amplified Planning founder Hannah Moore, now leads participants through 500 standard pathway experience hours from The CFP Board. Prior editions of the program, now in its fifth year, credited learners with 180 hours.
The cost of the course is $350 for individuals, and there are group discount rates available to financial planning firms. More information about the eight-week virtual program is available on the application form. No late entries will be accepted.
In announcing the summer 2024 program earlier this year, Moore said The CFP Board's decision to more than double the credited experience hours is "a testament to the program's workload and its profound impact on participants."
