Dynasty Financial Partners has named Andrew Marsh its first vice chairman after he was  appointed the firm's first executive in residence in April.

The appointment was one of several executive changes Dynasty announced Thursday.

Marsh will report to Shirl Penney, Dynasty CEO and founder, and will oversee strategic business reviews, coordinate corporate development opportunities, and assist with the onboarding and expansion of large U.S.-based registered investment advisors, the company said.

Marsh will also manage the firm's Breakaway Advisor and Existing RIAs sales channels, as well as end-client sales through Dynasty Connect.

As executive in residence, he worked closely with the company's Advisor-to-CEO program, a proprietary professional development initiative that tailors content and coaching for CEOs in its network of independent RIAs.

Before joining Dynasty, Marsh was CEO of Toronto-based Five1Nine Capital and Consulting, starting in 2021, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He had previously co-founded and run Richardson Wealth, an independent Canadian wealth firm. Under his leadership, Richardson Wealth expanded to over 160 teams managing over $30 billion before going public in 2020.

"Andrew is a consummate professional with deep experience in the wealth management industry," Penney said in a statement. "He has already done what so many in our community and the RIA space strive to — evolve from advisor to CEO, building a business successful enough to monetize in a material way."

Marsh's "peer-to-peer experience and understanding has established meaningful connections with our clients and makes him an inspiring ambassador for Dynasty," Penney added.

Fifty-two firms representing 330 advisors make up the Dynasty RIA network now, and it maintains more than $80 billion on its core technology platform, it said.

Other Promotions

Among the other executive appointments announced by Dynasty, Angela Gingras was promoted from director of operations to chief operating officer, reporting to Penney.

In her new role, Gingras will oversee operations, human resources, network compliance and technology, with operational oversight of the firm's turnkey asset management platform. The industry veteran joined Dynasty in 2019 as director of operations.

Samantha Sullivan was promoted to director of operations, while Leslie Dentinger was raised to deputy chief technology officer. They will report to Gingras.

Also, Stacy Costner was named chief compliance officer and will lead and supervise the internal compliance efforts for the firm along with regulatory, interaction and audit functions, reporting directly to Jon Morris, Dynasty general counsel.

Gordon Ross was promoted to chief client officer. During his time at the company, he led the effort to expand the Dynasty Enterprise Group and the Advisor-to-CEO program and served as co-head of Service. In his new role, Ross will be responsible for designing and implementing Dynasty's client coverage strategy and overseeing transitions.

Jeremy Zoladz and Caitlin Douglas will now serve as co-heads of service and transitions, reporting to Ross.

Last, Jennifer Dorgan was promoted to chief administrative officer, overseeing key administrative functions for the firm, including vendor and resource partner management. In her expanded role, she will continue to oversee key corporate finance functions, reporting to Justin Weinkle, Dynasty CFO.
