The Insured Retirement Institute board has added Bill Lowe to its board of directors' executive committee.
The Washington-based group has been helping annuity issuers get major annuity and retirement plan legislation through Congress at a time when fierce partisan conflicts have slowed most other efforts to pass bills.
Lowe is president of Sammons Financial Group's Sammons Institutional Group unit. The unit provides mutual funds, individual retirement arrangements and individual annuities through financial institutions and broker-dealers.
He has served on the IRI board since 2012.
