The new president of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals is Eric Kohlsdorf, a NABIP member with many years of experience as a benefits broker and a health insurance policy shaper.
Kohlsdorf is president of Prisma Strategies in Des Moines, Iowa.
The firm offers medical, dental and vision coverage, along with products such as group life insurance and identity theft protection.
He was the head of NABIP's political action committee in 2016 and 2017.
NABIP is the Washington-based group previously known as the National Association of Health Underwriters. It has about 100,000 members.
Alycia Riedl, a principal and client relationship manager at Mercer, is now the group's president-elect.
