"We are clients, too. Can we attend those dinners?" Years ago, a snowbird couple who were clients asked me this. They wintered in Florida. They received seminar invites for dinner events at their Florida address. These came from a different advisor, but our firm. They wondered if, like an airline lounge membership, you got to attend events regardless of location. Clients like free events. In fact, they might enjoy them so much that they'll bring their friends. This becomes more likely if you do something unique or creative.
