The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors has developed a free, four-session, online class aimed at students from participating colleges who are considering careers in insurance and other financial services sectors.
The Falls Church, Virginia-based group says it created the class because it wants to help meet a growing need for insurance and financial professionals.
"The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects the employment of personal financial advisors will grow 15% from 2021 to 2031, much faster than the average for all occupations," NAIFA says.
Each 45-minute career class session will debut on the web at noon EST Thursday, starting Feb. 2. After a session premiers, registered students can watch a recorded version.
