Rising interest rates may be putting a damper on the real estate market, but average home values are still up in all 50 states over the past year, according to a new study from TNRealEstate.com, a Tennessee-based real estate site. Researchers used data from Zillow to compare the average home value in 2021 and 2022 to determine which of the 50 states have seen the most significant percentage increases in value. In the 10 states with the biggest increases, the average value of a home rose by 24%. "Those living in these states might consider selling after looking at these statistics or even getting their current home valued," a spokesperson for TNRealEstate.com said in a statement.
