The housing boom brought on by the pandemic is not looking so robust these days, as futures markets indicate that home prices will decline by more than 10% in 2024 and 2025. But don't tell that to the folks in the most exclusive neighborhoods in the U.S. — mainly on the East and West Coasts — who have seen the median value of homes continue to rise. In a new report from RealtyHop, which finds undervalued condo, co-op and home deals for investors and buyers with an investment mindset, researchers pulled some 3.6 million real estate listings advertised in the U.S. so far this year and sorted the properties by ZIP code. They then ranked the ZIP codes by median price to determine the most expensive. See the gallery for the 12 at the top of the list.
