Peggy Tsai Takes Reins at MDRT

The Million Dollar Round Table could play a role in helping people around the world get along a little better, for the sake of personal financial wellness, in 2023.

Peggy Tsai is taking over as the 2023 president at the Park Ridge, Illinois-based financial professional group. Tsai is an advisor with Shin Kong Life Insurance of Taipei, Taiwan.

MDRT provides networking and education services for agents and advisors who help clients with large amounts of life insurance, annuity and related transactions per year.

MDRT has 72,000 members in 69 countries and other jurisdictions around the world. Only 7,561 of the members are based in the United States.

China ranks first in terms of MDRT members, with 15,783. The Taiwan area ranks sixth, with 5,055 members.

Tsai said in a comment about her new role at MDRT that she'll work to improve online support services for the group's members.

"Client expectations of financial services are growing at an increasingly fast rate, which makes the support of a global peer network more critical than ever," Tsai said.

The other 2023 MDRT executive committee members are Greg Gagne, the first vice president; Carol Kheng, the second vice president; and John Nichols, the secretary. Gagne is on track to become the 2024 MDRT president.
