SEI expanded its suite of model portfolios featuring Capital Group exchange-traded funds and American Funds mutual funds to include 12 new tax-sensitive solutions for advisors' clients, Capital Group and SEI said in a joint announcement.
This represents the first time that Capital Group ETFs are being made available in a model portfolio, it pointed out last week. The firm launched its first ETFs in February.
The new portfolios support the ability of independent advisors to provide goals-based, personalized wealth management through the SEI Wealth Platform, according to the companies.
The 12 new hybrid model portfolios combine Capital Group's active transparent ETFs and its American Funds mutual funds in an effort to "maximize tax-efficient equity and tax-advantaged fixed income exposures across a range of diversified strategic asset allocations," according to the companies.
Advisors can select from global or U.S.-focused portfolios.
The SEI Strategies featuring the American Funds launched in 2020 and include portfolios allocated across various regions, risk tolerances and investment objectives.
