Transamerica has picked Wendy Boyd to be head of life distribution for the company's individual solutions division.
Boyd previously ran the agency network at Lincoln Financial Group.
Earlier in her career, she was senior vice president of sales and operations at Crump Life Insurance Services. She has also worked as a sales executive at ADP.
Boyd has a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama.

In related news, Transamerica has picked Ryan Franken to lead large market retirement sales. Franken has been a division vice president at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance.
He has also worked for John Hancock, and he had a stint at Transamerica from 2011 through 2018. He returned to the Baltimore-based arm of Aegon in December.
Humana
Humana has named Dr. Andrew Agwunobi to be president of its Home Solutions business.
The unit is helping Humana return to the long-term care market, by providing care to older people and people with disabilities in their homes.
Agwunobi was previously the CEO of the University of Connecticut's UConn Health System.
