ThinkAdvisor has extracted the 20 worst-paying college majors from PayScale's 2021 College Salary Report to go along with our ranking of the 20 best-paying jobs, posted last week. We ranked the majors by salary at mid-career — the median salaries earned by holders of bachelor's degrees with 10 or more years' work experience — rather than starting salary, or one to 10 years' experience. We omitted educational degrees, which are heavily represented in the report, and this year were among three of the lowest-paying majors. The College Salary Report gathers alumni compensation data representing 835 majors at 1,736 of the 2,167 eligible bachelor's degree granting colleges and universities across the U.S. See the gallery for the 20 lowest-paying majors in 2021. — Related on ThinkAdvisor:
