Summer reading. Is that the right terminology? Summer reading is usually light reading, the type you take to the beach or enjoy on a hammock in the shade. When an advisor reads, there's often a yellow highlighter nearby or a pad with a "to-do" list. These are 10 books that should inspire you with ideas to add more clients and get more business. Obviously I can't promote my own book as a "Top 10," but I would be remiss if I didn't mention it. I wrote "Captivating the Wealthy Investor" (2004). It looks at how to identify, meet, cultivate and convert prospects within the wealthiest 2% to 5% of your market. It makes the case for social prospecting. Enough said.
