Policygenius has hired Megan Pittman to be the company's vice president of people.
Policygenius is a New York-based web broker that recently opened a second headquarters in Durham, North Carolina.
Pittman previously was the senior global director of human resources business partners and high-volume recruiting at Stitch Fix.
Pittman has a bachelor's degree from Sonoma State University and a master's degree in organizational leadership from Saybrook University.
Earlier in her career, she was the lead human resources business partner for Blue Bottle Coffee. She also has been director of people at Memphis Meats, a biotech startup.
Policygenius recently raised $100 million in financing, and it also recently increased its employee count to 550. The company is working with Brighthouse Financial on an accelerated underwriting life insurance product.
