F&G, a growing annuity issuer, has moved into new offices at 801 Grand Ave. in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. The company had been based in offices a few blocks away.

Chris Blunt, the company's CEO, cut a virtual ribbon at the new offices recently as a representative from the Greater Des Moines Partnership looked on. The partnership representative presented Blunt with an award for the company's contributions to Des Moines.
The company says it moved because an increase in annuity sales has led to an increase in the number of employees.
F&G says it has hired about 175 people this year.
The new offices take up about 80,000 square feet, in an existing building, with room for 500 workstations.
