Dane Rianhard Takes Over as NAHU President

Dane Rianhard has taken over from Patricia Griffey as president of the board of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).

NAHU is a Washington-based group that speaks for about health insurance agents and benefits advisors in Washington and in state capitals.

Rianhard is a co-founder of TriBridge Partners LLC, a Baltimore-based firm that helps client with employee benefits, individual insurance, financial planning, and business enterprise planning. He focuses on the benefits market for employers with 50 to 1,500 employees.

He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.

He has been active in NAHU since 2008, and he has helped the NAHU chapter in Maryland work with the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors on state-level issues in Maryland.

Before becoming president, Rianhard was NAHU’s president-elect. He also has served as secretary, treasurer and vice president at the national level, and as president of both the Baltimore and Maryland NAHU chapters.

Janet Trautwein continues to be NAHU’s chief executive officer.
