Jill Froment is leading a panel of state insurance regulators that will help shape new state life insurance and annuity sales standards regulations, including any new sales standard regulations.
The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), a group for state insurance regulators, has picked Froment to be the 2020 chair of the group's Life Insurance and Annuities Committee.

Froment is the director of the Ohio Department of Insurance. She was appointed to that post in 2017 by former Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who is a Republican.
Froment has a bachelor's degree in engineering from Ohio State and a law degree from Capital University.
