CVS Health Corp. parent will become a national presenting sponsor of the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's fundraising event in 2020, the association announced today.
Aetna's parent has also agreed to run three annual charity checkout fundraising campaigns for the association at the 9,900 CVS pharmacies.
The first checkout fundraiser started Sunday and is set to run through Nov. 23.
CVS Health hopes to raise a total of $10 million for the association through the campaigns, the association said. The association said it will use the money to pay for caregiver education programs, care and support programs for people with dementia, and medical research.
CVS Health says it will also use its stores to offer its caregiver customers information and resources aimed at family caregivers.
