Lincoln Names MoneyGuard Exec: Executive Changes

Lincoln Financial Group has hired Heather Deichler to be a senior vice president and head of Lincoln MoneyGuard product management (Related: Lincoln Rolls Out Updated MoneyGuard Life-LTC Hybrid) Deichler will oversee product development, pricing and management for the Lincoln life insurance-long-term care benefits hybrid product, the Radnor, Pennsylvania-based company announced earlier this week. Deichler has a bachelor's degree in economics from Vassar College and a law degree from Pace University. She previously was head of long-term care and linked benefits products, marketing, communication and strategy at New York Life. In other industry executive change news, Nationwide has named Ramon Jones to succeed Terrance Williams as chief marketing officer. Jones will be in charge of Nationwide's brand and marketing strategy, advertising, creative services, social media and corporate communications. Jones has a bachelor's degree in finance from Villanova University and a master's degree in business from the University of Pennsylvania. Mike Mahaffey, Nationwide's chief strategy and corporate development officer, "will take on additional responsibility for Nationwide's innovation-related initiatives," Nationwide said. The Columbus, Ohio-based company named Mahaffey to his post recently. He previously held the title of chief strategy officer. Mahaffey has a bachelor's degree in accounting and business from Pepperdine University and a master's degree in business from the University of Michigan.
