Kerzner, the former head of Hartford's individual life division, has been leading LIMRA, one of the two financial organizations that are part of LL Global, since 2004.
What is LL Global?
LL Global is a nonprofit organization based in Windsor Connecticut.
It serves as the parent organization both for LIMRA and for LOMA.
Levenson is on track to be the president of LIMRA and LOMA as well as of LL Global, according to LL Global.
LIMRA, which was once known as the Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association, is descended from an organization founded in 1916. LIMRA conducts research of interest to companies in the life insurance, annuity and retirement services markets.
LOMA, which was once known as the Life Office Management Association, was founded in 1924. LOMA helps life insurers and other financial services companies improve their management and operations, through operations research and training programs.
LIMRA and LOMA merged in 2008. They set up LL Global to serve as an umbrella organization for both associations.
