Envestnet and Investment Advisor magazine presented honors to the winners of this year's Asset Manager and Strategist of the Year Awards in mid-May at the Envestnet Advisor Summit in New Orleans.

Envestnet also announced the winners of its Essential Advisor Awards, which recognize advisors who embody the values detailed in a book co-authored by Envestnet President Bill Crager, "The Essential Advisor: Building Value in the Investor-Advisor Relationship."

Since opening Olympic Wealth Management of Bothell, Washington, winner Eric Cumley has expanded his assets and brought on a number of clients thanks to his knowledge of the Boeing Retirement Plan.

He believes he can best serve clients by focusing on their goals, not his, and relies on complex financial planning technology and software to best meet their needs.

Other winners of the second annual Essential Advisor Awards are:

  • Charlotte Dougherty, Dougherty & Associates;
  • Jill Lizzi, Bronfman Rothschild; and
  • Dan Smith, Signature Wealth Advisors.
