President Donald Trump is preparing to sign an executive order related to the Affordable Care Act at 11:15 a.m. EDT.

The White House says it will stream video of the ACA order signing live on YouTube.

As of 10:50 a.m. EDT, the White House YouTube channel viewership indicator showed that 173 people were already waiting to watch the video.

The White House has not yet released any official drafts or summaries of the order.

Trump has suggested in a tweet that the order might help health plans sell coverage across state lines.

News reports have suggested that the order also could:

  • Ease or eliminate a new, Obama-era regulation that limits the duration of short-term medical insurance policies to 90 days.

  • Begin the process of potentially pulling back from federal enforcement of the Affordable Care Act individual coverage ownership mandate.

  • Support employer use of health reimbursement arrangements.

  • Lead to new federal scrutiny of health care provider consolidation efforts.
