The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors has moved Keith Gillies up into the post of president, and Jill Judd into the position of president-elect.

The Falls Church, Virginia-based group was originally going to install its officers in Orlando, Florida, at the group's annual in-person conference. Hurricane Harvey roared toward Florida as NAIFA members were preparing to fly to Orlando and forced NAIFA to cancel the meeting.

Gillies, the group's new president, is the managing principal of Wealth Solutions L.L.C. and The Pension Center L.L.C. in La Place, Louisiana.

Judd, the new president-elect, is a State Farm agent based in Capitola, California.

The other 2017-2018 officers are Cammie Scott, secretary; Matthew Tassey, treasurer; and Paul Dougherty, the immediate past president.

Kevin Mayeux continues to be the group's chief executive officer.

NAIFA says it's also opening a grant program it reactivated to help agents and advisors hurt by Hurricane Harvey to agents and advisors hurt by other 2017 hurricanes.
