Envestnet | Tamarac has a new integration partner, Okta, which provides identity management solutions.

Advisors who use Okta to connect to their software applications will now be able to connect to Envestnet | Tamarac with a single sign-on.

"While RIAs of all sizes benefit from the application access automation Okta provides, it's particularly helpful with large RIAs (managing over $1 billion in client assets) that have broad IT demands," Stuart DePina, president of Envestnet | Tamarac, said by email. "Since more than one-third of large RIAs use Tamarac for their reporting, trading and CRM technology needs, we see this new integration immediately helping many of our RIA clients."

The integration includes access to Envestnet | Tamarac's Advisor View, Advisor Rebalancing and Advisor CRM applications.

"RIAs who leverage Okta's identity solutions now have the ability to quickly sign on to Tamarac technology and streamline their workflow without compromising security," DePina said in a statement. "This integration underscores how Tamarac provides meaningful integrations through a truly open platform that aligns with the way advisors want to work."

The Okta Integration Network includes integrations with over 5,000 other applications.

Envestnet made several integration announcements in August, including Envestnet | Tamarac's announcement that it had introduced single-sign-on capabilities to its advisors who use TD Ameritrade's Veo One platform for custody services; and Envestnet's integration with Advicent to offer the firm's NaviPlan financial planning software through Envestnet's wealth management platform.
