The Million Dollar Round Table has picked James Pittman to be its president in 2018.
Pittman, president of Portland, Oregon-based Insurance Consulting Services Inc., will succeed Mark Hanna.
Hanna is chairman of Hanna Insurance & Financial Solutions Inc., which is based in Concord, California. Hanna will serve on the MDRT executive committee as the immediate past president.
Other 2018 executive committee members include Ross Vanderwolf, the first vice president; Regina Bedoya, the second vice president; and Ian Green, the secretary.
MDRT is a group based in Park Ridge, Illinois, that honors top-performing life insurance and financial services professionals. It now has about 62,000 members from 69 nations and territories, up from 43,000 two years ago.
The group promotes high ethical standards and provides educational and networking resources for its members. The group's MDRT Foundation affiliate raises money for charity.
