Advicent has updated its Narrator Connect API platform with several new APIs for enterprise firms, including tools to support online plan viewing and digital data gathering and client onboarding.
Advicent also launched a new global API developer portal in mid-August to help developers build custom solutions faster. The portal features use cases to demonstrate some of the capabilities advisors can integrate into their platforms. Developers can get interactive support and request trial access to the platform.
"With the shift in how advisors communicate with their clients in today's market, firms need technology that can keep up with client demands," Cory Olson, director of global product management at Advicent, said in a statement.
Olson added that for financial advisors, "creating a branded digital client experience with APIs helps firms remain competitive and reach a broader range of consumers seeking a mixture of self-directed analysis and human interaction."
