It's true, you've seen many Retirement Advisor editors in recent months. As the entire media industry transitions, so too does Retirement Advisor and its staff. Former managing editor Kristen Beckman is still with us, but focusing on the digital side of industry news, helping to deliver important stories to loyal readers at LifeHealthPro.com.

As she noted in her last letter from the editor in the July issue, Retirement Advisor will now be delivered to you as a quarterly publication, sent alongside National Underwriter Life & Health. We feel that both publications are essential to the industry, and though Retirement Advisor content will not be published in print every month, the content from each issue will still be available online.

This month's issue features a profile of the 2016 Advisor of the Year winner Jeff Bucher, whose story makes me — and hopefully many of the readers of this publication — proud to be a part of the industry. To honor Life Insurance Awareness Month, we've run a feature on how to prevent life insurance failure, a piece that's helpful to agents and advisors with a boomer base of clients. And finally, a timely Q&A with industry veterans on the impact of the DOL fiduciary rule, a topic we'll continue to cover at-length.

The next issue of Retirement Advisor will be out November 1. Until then, I urge you to visit LifeHealthPro.com not only for breaking news and analysis on important industry topics, but also to join the conversation with your peers. We must learn from each other and support the growth and transition of the industry. Yes, there is change within the industry, but we will embrace it together.

How do you view change and, perhaps, create opportunity from it? I welcome your comments at [email protected].
