New products and changes introduced over the last week include a global real estate fund from Fidelity Investments, a growth ETF from iSectors, LLC and a consolidation of its brands by Franklin Square Capital Partners.
Also, Efficient Advisors and Gladstone Associates announced a strategic partnership and Vanare and Redtail launched an integration for account opening.
Here are the latest developments of interest to advisors:
1) Fidelity Launches Global Real Estate Fund
Fidelity Investments launched the Fidelity Advisor Global Real Estate Fund (FWRAX), which is designed to invest in U.S. and international real estate securities and is managed by Steve Buller.
The launch was timed to coincide with a key change in S&P 500 sector categories: the emergence of real estate as its own standalone sector after years of inclusion in the financials sector, starting September 19. The fund has a net expense ratio of 1.4%.
2) iSectors Launches Growth ETF
iSectors, LLC launched the iSectors Post-MPT Growth ETF (PMPT), which is actively managed and aims to optimize investor return and minimize downside risk.
PMPT invests in nine low-correlated asset classes, including basic materials, bonds, energy, financials, gold, healthcare, real estate, technology and utilities. It has a net expense ratio of 1.55%.
3) Franklin Square Capital Partners Consolidates Brands
